Campaign in support of lgbtq+ military on the international day against homophobia

On May 17, the International Day Against Homophobia, posters with the portraits of Ukrainian defenders who are part of the LGBTQ+ community appeared on the streets of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. The portraits also appeared in some establishments in the capital.

The goal is to overcome stereotypes and prejudices against LGBTQ+ people. At the same time, the campaign draws public attention to the lack of equal rights for LGBTQ+ military personnel.

On this website, you can read the stories of the defenders who took part in the project. They are full of struggle, challenges, and love. In addition, under each story, there is a link to a telegram bot where everyone can write a letter to the Verkhovna Rada in support of draft law No. 9103 and thus bring equality closer.

The information campaign was created by Rizni.Rivni and KharkivPride in support of the LGBTQ+ military association with the assistance of RFSL.
